(It’s a new year, let’s get the reviews rolling! 🙂 )
This is a cute book, by Lysa TerKeurst, about Little Seed and Little Fox who are facing fears and changes. They are scared, and don’t like the changes, but they learn to trust the farmer, who knows what’s best for them.
Every page has very cute illustrations and the story is great too. The book ends with a lesson-drawing paragraph that we can learn to trust God through scary times, and changing times.
I can see this being helpful for young children who are especially shy, or nervous, of new things.
All in all, a good choice!
(She also includes a little letter to the reader explaining the reason for writing the book, as well as a page of helpful Bible verses dealing with worry/fear/anxiety to memorize with your kids!)
(The story will be a bit lengthy for the 2 year olds, but they will love the pictures)
